| Under 13B's win last gasp, last ball League Final in North County - 27 August 2010Many congratulations to the Under13B side, which last night defeated North County in an absolute thriller. A run out off the final delivery brought Pembroke an unlikely victory and scenes of celebration that not many Pembroke sides have experienced in North County for a few years. Well done boys.... |

| Awards Night: An Appeal - 18 August 2010 In the last few seasons we have produced a slideshow of the season through YOUR pictures. In these media savvy days when we all (excluding Éamonn Fitzpatrick) seem to have camera phones or digital cameras, there must be a few photos of season 2010 around. Pembroke pictures will all be gratefully received. Pictures of weddings, cup finals, Bollywood or indeed anything relevant to the season. | Fifth XI win Junior Cup - 15 August 2010Jack Balbirnie scored 33 runs, took 2 wickets and made a terrific run out to win man-of-the-match as Pembroke defeated Knockharley in the Junior Cup Final. | Paul Lawson leads Pembroke U19's to final victory - 13 August 2010The Pembroke Under 19 side defeated Clontarf in the final tonight in Sydney Parade. Batting at no.6 Paul Lawson's half century allowed Pembroke to post 130.
In reply opening bowlers Barry McCarthy and Fred Mann knocked over the top 4 bats in the first 4 overs. Once Paul Lawson had taken the wicket of Jorden Coughlan, victory was assured. The final margin of victory was 40 runs. |

| Allan Eastwood has match figures of 5/108 in Irish win - 13 August 2010Club Captain, Allan Eastwood, a native of Roscrea, has had an impressive debut for the full Ireland side. In the game versus the Netherlands in Rathmines, Allan's match figures were 32 overs, 5 maidens, 5 wickets for 108, as ireland won by an innings plus. |

| Irish Women win World Cup Qualifier Tournament - 12 August 2010 The Irish Women yesterday beat The Netherlands in their final game at the Euorpean World Cup Qualifier to win the tournament and now have qualified for the World Cup Global Qualifying tournament.
Louise McCarthy took 2/6 as Ireland won by 3 wickets. Congratulations to Louise, the other Pembroke players and the entire squad on such an important win. |
| Barry McCarthy to the fore for Ireland Under 17's - 12 August 2010 At Eglington yesterday Ireland Under 17's beat their Scottish counterparts by 4 wickets. Barry McCarthy played a full part, taking 3/32 and scoring 34 runs.
With both Barry and Louise starring on the representative stage, it now falls to father Steve to keep the good news coming with his role in the Pembroke Fifths challenge for the Junior Cup on Sunday. |
| Fifths invited to breakfast on Cup Final Morning - 11 August 2010Skipper Michael Byers has today announced that "the full squad, including scorer, have been invited to Chez Byers & McColgan for breakfast rolls, OJ, Coffee and Tea and Milk for the younger ones. 10:00 on Sunday morning. The team will then depart at 11:15 to arrive in Merrion at noon for a net and a build-up of excitement." |

| Pembroke @ YMCA - fixture switch and invitation. - 09 June 2010Just to confirm the 2020 match YMCA v. Pembroke has been changed to Wednesday 23 of June at 6pm.
YMCA are marking the game as a tribute to Wes Earl who tragically died of cancer at the end of 2009. YMCA will be making a donation to the Hospice as part of the day and we will be doing a burger and a wine or beer for €10.00 so ask as many members along as you can for a feed and a fun evening. | Paul Lawson leads Pembroke Under19 to victory in Final - 13 August 2010Paul Lawson, batting at 6, provided the runs that enabled Pembroke to win the Under 19 final aginst Clontarf tonight.Paul's half century allowed Pembroke to post 130 from their 20 overs.
Clontarf's reply was stilted by the loss of a wicket in each of the first 4 overs. Fred Mann and Barry McCarthy both bowled with pace and hostility and when Paul Lawson bowled Jordan Coughlan, victory was assured. 40 runs was the difference at the end. |
